I just had to think Kakashi...Surprise surprise...I figure that his hair is "messy" enough, but I sort of had to exploit creative liscense with this. :< Hope he likes it.

Although, I think the rper is wrong. From the remark Kakashi made in one of the shippoden episodes I don't think his father wore a mask. What he says implies that Kakashi wears the mask because he looks like his father.
